The HARMONY project is developing new ways to recycle rare earth magnets from electronic waste, reducing Europe’s reliance on imported raw materials. By improving recycling processes, we aim to make magnet production more sustainable and circular. This will help industries like renewable energy and electric vehicles access essential materials while cutting environmental impact.

ESCI's role in the project:

ESCI leads the Work Package on communication, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement. Our primary role is to raise awareness about the project, disseminate results, and engage with industry, research, policymakers, and the public.

ESCI is responsible for producing a range of high-quality materials, including 4+ infographics, 10+ journalistic articles or interviews, 2 project videos, and a 30+ page technical brochure. We also develop promotional materials such as a logo, postcards, flyers, roll-ups, and templates to support project branding.

Beyond standard communication tasks, ESCI plays a key role in building the HARMONY community on social media, increasing engagement and visibility. The team also provides training for partners on maximising social media impact and increasing outreach when publishing results.
