iCOSHELLs is a Horizon Europe research and innovation project supporting the EU Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe,’ which aims to achieve healthy soils by 2030. With six Living Labs in the Basque Country, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Sweden, the project brings together local stakeholders to co-design and test practical solutions for improving soil health.

ESCI's role in the project:

ESCI is responsible for ensuring effective communication and dissemination within iCOSHELLs. In the first year, it will organise a workshop to train partners on clear and impactful science communication.

ESCI will contribute to developing communication materials, including brochures, posters, and presentations, available in English and local languages. It will also support media relations, producing 12 journalistic articles, press releases, and interviews to engage the public and policymakers, some tailored for regional audiences.

Additionally, ESCI will help create six videos showcasing challenges and solutions in the Living Labs, produced in English and local languages to enhance outreach. Through these efforts, ESCI ensures iCOSHELLs’ findings are effectively communicated to drive public engagement and policy impact.
